Nhà Bè Khánh Hào is in Rạch Vẹm, not Hàm Ninh. Its à la carte menu, read on 19 October 2026, lists steamed crab at 65,000 VND/100 g (650,000 VND/kg) and steamed rice at 30,000 VND per portion. Using that menu for arithmetic, a selected 600 g crab would cost 0.6 × 650,000 = 390,000 VND. Add one rice portion and the subtotal is 420,000 VND before any other dishes, drinks or additions.
If the chosen crab instead weighs 800 g, the crab line becomes 520,000 VND at the same kilogram price. The extra 200 g adds 130,000 VND. Nothing about the unit price changed. This is why agreeing a budget without seeing the selected weight can still produce a surprise, even when the seller uses the price you were shown.
That restaurant also markets set products. A set including a boat journey and several dishes is not comparable line for line with this crab-and-rice example. Start by choosing whether you want the transport-and-meal product or the individual dishes. Then read the inclusions of that product rather than moving the cheapest number from one menu format into another.
