Vinpearl Safari: let the bus begin the day, not end it

The bus is the scene most people arrive for: a window onto animals moving through a managed landscape. Afterwards, the visit changes pace. On foot you can stay with a bird, an enclosure or a patch of shade instead of moving with the vehicle. Leave time for that second part.

Vinpearl Safari in the northwest combines a semi-wild viewing-bus circuit with a walking zoo. For a first visit, allow about 3–5 hours as our planning suggestion, put the bus early and then choose walking exhibits and a meal. Safari and VinWonders are separate parks, even on a combined ticket.

Choose it for a managed animal-park visit. For forest sounds, small wild encounters and a quiet walk, choose the National Park wildlife guide instead.

Two ways of looking at the park

The vehicle circuit is the anchor, but it is not the whole Safari.

Visitors remain inside a protected bus in the semi-wild area while animals move through the surrounding habitat. Watch the landscape as well as the nearest animal: a zebra crossing, an antelope group and a rhino resting in shade give different kinds of moments. Keep the camera ready, but give yourself time to look through the window without it.

The walking area offers another pace. Choose a few habitats that interest the group, then stay long enough to notice movement and interaction rather than trying to photograph every sign on the map. A shaded pause beside a bird or primate enclosure can become the part of the visit a child remembers most.

The size and greenery make Safari feel spacious at first, but the bus queue changes the pace as morning visitors arrive. Give the circuit an early place in the day, then use the walking area at your own rhythm. Giraffes and zebras belong to the wider animal landscape; leave room for the quieter moments between the larger encounters.

A morning route with room for lunch

Aim for the beginning of the day and decide on the bus before committing to a performance.

Get the map, find the safari loading point and take that circuit first if it is your priority. The Animal Show is listed at 10:00–10:30 and 14:00–14:30 behind Flamingo Restaurant; choose one slot if it interests you rather than trying to force the bus between two fixed appointments. These operator references were checked on 18 October 2026.

Then use a walking-and-lunch block before deciding whether to stay for the afternoon show. Do not read 16:00 closing as a last opportunity to start the bus: the official booking information lists 15:20 for its final departure. The main page and booking page differ on the morning gate time, so a 09:00 start is the straightforward planning reference until the park gives your visit-day instruction.

For a one-day VinWonders combination, Safari first and a selected VinWonders route afterwards is the workable order. Two separate park days suit a family that wants more than the highlights. Grand World can be a northern evening, but keep the Safari exit, the next entrance and the actual driver pickup as three named points.

The walking area deserves its own time

The primate and bird areas reward a pause rather than a quick photograph between bus rides.

Watching an orangutan rest or interact with another animal is a different experience from expecting it to respond to visitors. Let the enclosure’s normal rhythm supply the interest. The bird areas offer colour, shape and movement that are easy to overlook when a family is focused only on the biggest mammals. A crowned crane photograph is a reason to look more carefully, not an invitation to call the bird closer.

A staff-run feeding opportunity has its own food and procedure. Visitors’ snacks do not become animal feed, and ordinary admission does not grant contact with every animal. If you prefer an observation-only visit, keep that choice: the bus and walking areas already provide the day’s main content.

Distinguish the safari viewing bus, the walking-area electric buggy and the vehicle bringing you from your hotel. For lunch, read the named outlet and service window on any voucher instead of expecting it to work everywhere. If boarding steps or a wheelchair transfer matters, ask about the specific safari vehicle before buying an optional transport upgrade.

Safari admission and the combinations worth comparing

From 1 October 2026, the standard Safari product is 950,000 VND and includes a Teddy Bear Museum admission benefit.

The one-day Safari–VinWonders combination is 1,500,000 VND in the same October notice. The two-day combination is 1,700,000 VND and includes the Teddy Bear Museum benefit. The difference buys time to separate two substantial parks: Safari can fill a morning, while VinWonders has its own aquarium, rides, water park and evening programme. These are standard-product references; the booking total depends on the selected date, visitor category and promotion.

Night Safari is a separately advertised evening programme. Do not stay after the day visit expecting the same ticket and vehicle circuit to continue. The ticket guide below is the place for current product selection, height categories, extras and booking conditions.

Receiving point and approach

Ganh Dau, Phu Quoc

Navigate to the Safari entrance in the Gành Dầu/northwest resort region. A hotel shuttle stopping at Grand World is not necessarily a drop-off at Safari; name the park gate and the return meeting point when arranging transport.

A detail for the visit

Questions before the visit

Specific answers for this experience.

Is the Safari bus the same as the electric buggy?

No. The viewing bus enters the semi-wild area; the buggy serves movement in the walking area under its own product terms. Hotel transfers are another journey.

How long should I allow?

About 3–5 hours is our first-visit suggestion for the circuit, selected walking areas and a break. Add road travel separately.

Can I start the safari circuit at closing time?

No. The official booking reference lists the last bus at 15:20, earlier than the published 16:00 daytime close.

Is the old 850,000 VND standard price still the reference?

The operator’s 1 October 2026 notice replaces it with 950,000 VND and a Teddy Bear Museum benefit. Read the selected date and category for your payable amount.

Must I attend shows or feed animals?

No. A visit can focus on the bus and walking exhibits. Feeding activities have separate staff instructions and permitted feed.

Does day admission cover Night Safari?

Do not assume it. The evening programme has its own operating dates, meeting time and product conditions.
